چکیده

Following two amendments were also put to vote and the results are in favour, as detailed below, 1) Under CSI Constitution and Byelaws: a) Addition Under Section 4.3.3 (b) Finance Committee of CSI Constitution and Byelaws which reads as: v) in prescribing the manner of maintaining centralised accounts as required for consolidation on a monthly/annual basis for complying with statutory requirements. b) "Section 3.5 Student Branches" to be replaced by "section 3.5 Accredited Student Branches". All instances of "Student member" under Section 3.5 and its subsections to be replaced by "Student Volunteer". a) Section 4.2.6 of Chapter Byelaws which reads as follows: "The MC shall approve a Scheduled bank to deposit the funds received by the Chapter. It shall also designate the Offi cers (s) authorised to operate thereon." It shall read "The ExecCom shall approve a Scheduled bank to deposit the funds received by the Chapter. ExecCom shall also designate the Offi cers (s) authorised to operate thereon." b) "Section 3.1 of Chapter Byelaws "Student Branches" to be replaced by "Section 3.1 Accredited Student Branches" Votes secured by individuals candidates can be viewed at http://www.csi-india.org/results-2014 and follow the link Please click here to see no. of ballots against each candidate.

Calculation of Kolmogorov Entropy in Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics

In this paper Kolomogorov entropy of a simulated cavity quantum electrodynamics in a multi-partite system consisting of eight quantum dots in interaction with one cavity mode has been estimated. It has been shown that the Kolmogorov Entropy monotonically increases with the increasing coupling strength, which is a sufficient condition for chaotic behavior under ultrastrong coupling regime. The a...

Wavelength and polarization variations of InAs/GaAs quantum dots emission at liquid Helium temperature via microphotoluminescence spectroscopy

In this paper, we investigate variation of the wavelength, intensity and polarization of the self-assembled InAs/GaAs quantum dots emission by microphotoluminescence spectroscopy at the liquid helium temperature. The microcavity wafer sample is grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and chemically etched into the micropillar structure (with elliptical cross section - long and short axis 2µm×1.5µ...

Synthesis and Optical Study of CdZnTe Quantum Dots

The comparison of growth processes and fluorescent properties of CdZnTe semiconductor quantum dots that are synthesized in different concentrations of Zn2+ in water are discussed in this paper. The samples are characterized through absorbtion (UV) and photoluminescence spectra (PL). The results show that when the reaction time is prolonged, the absorption peak and fluorescent emission peak pres...

Study of quantum size effects and optical characteristics in colloidal Cd1-xSnxTe quantum dotes

In this work, we report, optical properties of Cd1-xSnxTe quantum dots (x= 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15) synthesized in water using thioglycolic acid (TGA) as a modifier agent. The optical characterization of the samples was performed through absorption (UV) and photoluminescence spectra (PL). A red shift absorption and fluorescent emission peaks was observed which can be related t...
